Administration and Support
TalenTek employs four part time staff to handle its office administration and support. It also supports SMMEs by utilising outsourced IT development services, company sercretarial services, legal support and cleaning services.
Training and Development
TalenTek has participated between 2007 and 2009 on the Coachlab@Hub leadership development programme by sponsoring two Black ITC students per annum. TalenTek has also facilitated a week long training intervention from 2008 on an annual basis to SARA to train the three Black interns during their mentorship and development programme. TalenTek also provides Black HR students from time to time an opportunity to do their practical training at the office, prior to accepting full time appointments. For a small enterprize, this takes up a lot of time and resources and amounts to a substantial portion of our labour costs.
Corporate Social Investment
The current environment within South Africa calls on all of us to make contributions to the poor and struggling population as part of our social responsibility. TalenTek has spent a lot of effort and resources over the past years to make a contribution and to change the situation of people. TalenTek has chosen to participate this year mainly at PEN in Pretoria, MES in Johannesburg, The Higveld Synod in Kemptonpark and PETRA College in Witrivier. TalenTek has a number of NPO clients who benefit from preferential rates for professional services.
B-BBEE
In line with the responsibility and contribution to strive for a free and fair South Africa, the shareholders and directors will promote B-BBEE. TalenTek has a Level 3 Qualifying Small Enterprise rating. The recent change in Black shareholding will contribute positively to the level rating. As soon as the next audit is completed, a copy of the B-BBEE certificate will be made available on this site.
