History
TalenTek started its business in 2002 as The Resilience Company with its main aim and focus to change South Africa into a resilient nation. The business focus changed during February 2006 when Johan Brits and Raymond Raats joined the Resilience Company and introduced performance and remuneration management as additional products and services. Soon thereafter the company secured the SuccessFactors resellers licence and later the certified professional services partnership. During this time, a partner developed Remcalc (called RRM then) as a fully fletched web-based tool.
The head office moved from Johannesburg to Pretoria while it alsways retained a branch in Ekurhuleni (first in Benoni and later in Morninghill). The company changed its name to TalenTek in March 2009 as part of a seperation with The Resilience Company’s original business focus to become a talent management technology partner to its client base. During 2009 SuccessFactors Inc. broadened its focus from talent and performance management to business execution. In the beginning of 2010, TalenTek also followed in SuccessFactors' footsteps.
