Lot Ndlovu (Chairman)

TalenTek Director - Lot dlovuLot has spent over thirty years within the business and corporate environment.  He has, over the last sixteen years, been associated with the Nedbank Group where he has occupied both executive and non-executive roles.  His ten years as an executive in the Nedbank Group included the positions of Group Human Resources Director and Chief Executive Officer of Peoples Bank. 

As a non-executive director at Nedbank he had served as a Co-Vice Chairman of the Group, Chairman of the Transformation and Sustainability Committee, and a member of the following other Board Committees: Group Credit, Group Risk and Directors Affairs.  He left Nedbank Group in October 2009.  His varied exposure to corporate Boards as a non-executive director span a period of eighteen years. 

He has served on the Boards of New African Investments Limited (NAIL), Otis Elevators, Ingwe Coal, CNA Gallo, Lafarge, Mutual and Federal and Nampak.  Such participation entailed being a member of various committees including Transformation and Sustainability, Remuneration and Nominations and Audit.  He currently serves on the Boards of Sandown Motor Holdings and is Chairman of Nestlife Assurance and the South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL). 

He is the founder trustee of two charities, namely, Hope In Victory (HIV) - an HIV/Aids Care Givers organization - as well as November Ten, a charity for orphans.  He also has vast experience in Corporate Foundation work aimed at social corporate responsibility.  He has also been active in the Public Sector with Government assignments since 1994.

Johan Brits (Managing Director)

TalenTek Director - Johan BritsJohan is an experienced Business Consultant that specialises in talent, performance and remuneration management.  He spent 20 years in the corporate environment within parastatal organisations, private and public companies in the logistics, transport and research sectors, mainly in the financial and business management fields.  His last position in 2003 before venturing into consulting was Financial Director at a listed company.

Johan is a registered professional at various accounting and personnel institutions.  Johan contributes to professional associations on policy and other matters.  Johan is also involved in performance and talent management within the Local Government at a Metropolitan Municipality and smaller municipalities and a municipal entity.  Johan also project managed the installation of performance management and development systems at a number of TALENTEK clients.

Johan has interest in community and social work and serves on the Board of Directors of PEN (Participate, Empower & Navigate).  He previously served on the Boards of the SA Express Parcel Association, Jericho Walls International Prayer Network and the Institute of Personnel Management.  He is also responsible for the Corporate Social Investment programme of the company.   He is married and has two children.

Raymond Raats (Director)

TalenTek Director - Raymond RaatsRaymond is a Human Resources Professional with more than 25 years experience in Human Resources Management.  He has developed Performance Management Policies, Frameworks, Systems and Training Interventions for private sector and governmental institutions.  He is an astute facilitator of Performance Management interventions.  Raymond is the SuccessFactors Technical System Implementation Specialist.

Raymond is the SuccessFactors Technical System Implementation Specialist, and has successfully implemented 29 SuccessFactors systems over the past 4 years for companies in South Africa, Africa, the Middle East and the UK. He is a Certified SuccessFactors Systems Implementer. In the South African context Raymond is considered  a specialist in the configuration of SuccessFactors to support the local government sector in Organisational and Individual Performance Management.

Raymond’s extensive experience includes:

  • Business Development and Implementation;
  • Consulting to Public Sector and Private Sector Companies on Performance Management, Remuneration Management, Business Intelligence, Career Development and Innovation; and
  • Development of Remcalc, a Web-based, strategic Remuneration Management tool.

 Raymond has interests in citrus farming and enjoys restoring vintage cars.  He is married and has two children.
